Draw it up is a free drawing-prompt generator, part of Dimlight. By using it, you agree to the terms below.
The prompts are suggestions, not rules
Everything this site produces — subjects, palettes, compositions, challenges — is a starting point offered for fun. The challenges in particular are explicitly optional: ignore them, bend them, or invent better ones. Nothing here is a standard you're failing to meet.
What you draw is yours
Anything you make from a prompt on this site belongs entirely to you. We claim no rights over your artwork, and you owe us no credit — though if you'd like to mention where the idea came from, that's always welcome. Sell it, post it, frame it, bin it. Your call.
Not a teaching tool
This is a random idea generator, not an art course. It offers no instruction, no feedback, and no guarantee that any prompt will suit your skill level, medium, or mood. If a prompt is beyond you today, draw something else.
Using the site
Use it as much as you like. Please don't scrape the prompt lists in bulk to republish them as your own, and don't use automated tools that interfere with the site or the advertising on it.
Intellectual property
The design, code, and the written prompts, palettes and challenges on this site belong to Dimlight, except where third-party fonts or libraries are used under their own licences. The colour values themselves are just numbers — use them freely.
Advertising
This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are labelled and kept clear of the generator. We don't control which advertisers appear and don't endorse them — see the Privacy Policy for how ad cookies work.
Availability
Draw it up is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable or behave oddly at any time, and prompts may be added, changed, or removed without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site.

This site is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there.
